Why elderweed?

Why did I decide to dedicate a site and my energy to such a thing? It is because I am becoming a solo practitioner and exercising my right to be as healthy as possible. I am not an expert, I am an active learner and a professional educator. I am over 55 years old and have reached the point in my life where traditional medical care has limitations.

I am combining both traditional medical advice and methodology to alternative medical options. I am someone who likes to research and learn and have found that the materials out there for making choices about medical marijuana and hemp products are prolific, but seldom geared to the new user and a more mature audience.

Here, I hope to share what I have learned so that others may make informed personal decisions. Again, nothing here is medical advice. When one enters into this journey, one must accept that one is a solo practitioner treating one’s self. Your choices are yours alone.
