The Story Begins...

I am medically complicated. I am diabetic. I have Crohn’s disease and fibromyalgia. I suffer with chronic pain. I am in the 55-60 age range. Opioids are not helpful and have more negative side effects than positive outcomes. They are addictive, slow the gut, and cause me to be drowsy and dull. I have chosen not to use them. I have been in search of options. This started me on the hunt. Acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments have helped, but I continued to experience pain that restricted my activities. I started a serious search and easily found that medical marijuana and hemp CBD oil came up as options in nearly every diagnosis I have.

Now that I knew that this might be an option, I continued to search and found little information about initiating the process beyond obtaining a Medical Marijuana Card (Arizona) and diving in. Today the potency of marijuana far exceeds what was around when I was a teen. The options for getting the medicine into the body are numerous. Choices have to be made about THC and CBD, as well as other chemical components, in relationship to desired outcomes. I am inviting you along on my journey in hope that it will help you in yours.
